Meet the Physician and His Staff //
Amar Sawar, M.D. | Board Certified Neurologist and Rheumatologist
Arthritis, Autoimmune Disorders, Epilepsy, Sleep Medicine, Fibromyalgia
Dr. Sawar is one of very few self-owned practice physicians. He graduated Med School from University Damascus. He served his fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital and St. Louis University. He also performed his residency at St. Louis University. After school he moved to Southern Illinois for where he has resided for 10+years. He is board certified in 8 specialties. He is currently seeing patients at 5 locations and looks forward to serving you. In his spare time he enjoys studying history and music.

Taylor is a fantastic MA. She usually the one who will speak with you on the phone. She is our primary scheduler and helps the staff with insurance authorizations. She has been working for Dr. Sawar since 2016. In her spare time she is a mom of two and enjoys spending time with her family.
Sheila Stone, CNA M.A.| Office Manager
NCS Technician, Pharmacy Tech, Authorizations,
Sheila is a certified nurses aid since 2011. She also is a licensed pharmacy tech and certified in billing coding, and phlebotomy. She has been with Dr. Sawar since 2013. She is the office manager and the back bone of the office. She prides herself in patient care and satisfaction. In her spare time she is a mom of two and is working on a charity foundation for genetic disorders.
